What is PTE Academic?
PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English) is a fully computer-based English test. You speak into a microphone, type your written answers and listen through headphones, and your responses are scored by automated systems on a scale of 10 to 90. Results are usually available within a few days, which is one reason many applicants choose it.
PTE Academic is accepted by many universities and by government authorities for visas in countries such as Australia, New Zealand and the UK, and some other countries accept PTE scores for specific routes. Requirements change, so always confirm with the institution or authority you are applying to.

What our PTE coaching covers
Speaking & Writing
Fluency and pronunciation for automated scoring — steady pace, clear word endings and no long pauses; templates that work for Describe Image and Re-tell Lecture; structured essays and one-sentence summaries within word limits.
Reading
Collocations and grammar clues for fill-in-the-blank items; logical connectors for re-ordering paragraphs; time management across a section with no separate timer per question.
Listening
Note-taking for summaries, spotting changed words while reading along, and Write from Dictation — one of the most valuable task types for your score.
Mock tests and feedback
Full-length, computer-based timed mock tests with detailed feedback on where you lose marks and what to practise next.
Tips that help PTE scores
- In speaking tasks, keep talking at a natural pace — hesitations and long pauses hurt fluency scores.
- Stay within word limits in Summarise Written Text and Essay.
- Practise typing speed and accuracy; spelling counts.
- Prioritise high-value task types such as Repeat Sentence and Write from Dictation.
- Take full mock tests to build stamina for a two-hour computer test.
