Start speaking English from zero — the right way
If you understand some English but freeze when you have to speak, or you were never taught English properly at school, the Basic English speaking course is where you begin. It is a 3-month beginner programme at CEFR levels A1–A2, taught in small, friendly batches where nobody laughs at mistakes — because everyone in the room is learning the same thing.
By the end of the course most students can introduce themselves, talk about their family, work and daily routine, ask and answer simple questions, describe people and places, and write short, correct sentences. Most importantly, they lose the fear of speaking.
Who should join the Basic course?
- Complete beginners and learners from Hindi- or Urdu-medium schools
- Students who understand English but cannot make sentences
- Job seekers who need everyday English for work
- Homemakers and parents who want confidence in daily conversation
- Anyone whose free placement test shows level A1 or A2

How each class works
Every 90-minute class (50 minutes online) has three parts: a short explanation with simple examples, guided practice in pairs, and free speaking where you use the new structure in a real situation — introducing a friend, ordering food, asking for directions, describing your home. Each weekday also has a skill focus: speeches on Monday, listening and pronunciation on Tuesday, reading and vocabulary on Wednesday, grammar on Thursday and review on Friday.
What you will be able to say after 3 months
| Week | Typical speaking goal |
|---|---|
| 1–2 | Introduce yourself and your family; talk about your daily routine in the present simple |
| 3–5 | Describe past events and future plans; ask Wh- and Yes/No questions confidently |
| 6–8 | Describe people, places and objects; give directions; use prepositions correctly |
| 9–12 | Join ideas with conjunctions, compare things, and give a 1–2 minute talk in front of the class |
Assessment and study material
You take short quizzes on tenses, parts of speech and sentence structure, give oral presentations, complete simple writing exercises and are assessed on class participation. You practise with ESL workbooks, online grammar quizzes, flashcards for vocabulary and audio recordings for listening.
