Dr. Anwarul Haque — known to his students as Anwar Sir — is an educator, researcher, author and language expert with over 22 years of teaching experience. He is passionate about teaching English, Urdu and Hindi, and his focus is always the same: helping learners speak with confidence and fluency.
He has taught at Jamia Millia Islamia and The Wings Foundation, New Delhi, and served as a Research Associate in the Department of Urdu at Jamia Millia Islamia under the Tagore Research and Translation Scheme, funded by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. Educator and linguist
Dr. Anwarul Haque is an accomplished educator, writer and linguist with over twenty years of experience in teaching English. A PhD graduate from Jamia Millia Islamia, one of India's most prestigious universities, he has dedicated his career to helping students master the English language. His academic journey also includes an MBA, an MA in English, an M.Phil, and TEFL/TESOL certification from Lamar University (USA) and the Paris College of International Education (France).
Writer, translator and researcher
Beyond teaching, Dr. Haque has a deep passion for translation, research and creative writing — literary translations, scholarly articles, research papers and storytelling. He has also taught Business Management and Mass Media.
He is a prolific author with seven books to his name, two of which received the Urdu Academy Award from the Government of Delhi. He worked as a Research Associate in Jamia Millia Islamia's Department of Urdu on the Tagore Research and Translation Scheme, a project funded by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.
Institution builder
In 2004 he co-founded Dynamic English Academy, and in 2017 he established The Wings Foundation, New Delhi, with a mission to empower learners through education. He continues to mentor students and advise academic organisations.

Having taught students from more than forty countries, Dr. Haque is deeply engaged in global education. He has delivered seminars, debates and lectures at institutions including Sahitya Academy, Calcutta University, Ravenshaw University (Odisha), Urdu Academy Delhi, Idara Adab-e-Islami and Jamia Millia Islamia, and has led English communication workshops at schools and colleges such as F.D.
